Bookings

Courts can be booked via Playtomic, up to 7 days in advance. The courts become available hourly, e.g. a 10am court becomes available at 10am a week beforehand.

Private Bookings vs Open Matches

You can either book a private court, or start/join an open match.

For private bookings, you can pay for only your share, and allocate other players yourself, or you can pay for the whole court.

An open match allows you to start or join a match with other players that you may not know. Open matches need to be fully allocated, otherwise the Playtomic system will automatically cancel them and refund you.

Rental

If you don’t have your own, then racket hire is available, costing £6. If you’d like your own, we have a selection of high quality rackets in our pro shop available for purchase, where you can also purchase balls to keep.

Cancellations 

Cancellation policy is up to 24 hours before the match via the Playtomic app, whereby you will receive an automatic refund. Events may have different cancellation policies -please refer to the registration deadline when booking.

Transport

Padel Box Bermondsey is a 12 minute walk from South Bermondsey station. Alternatively, we have installed bike racks outside to secure your bike to. There is also a small car park to the left of the warehouse if you need to drive.

Food and drink

Coffee shop:

We’ve worked hard to offer only the best coffee, made by experienced baristas. All coffee roasted is speciality coffee small batch coffee, carefully selected from three regions to give exceptional and balanced flavour.

Snacks:

We offer protein bars, protein shakes, crisps, and delicious toasties.

Drinks:

We have craft beer and cocktails, alongside a carefully curated cocktail menu, selective menu of spirits and expert-selected wines. Take your drinks up to the mezzanine to enjoy with a view of the games. Enjoy drinks from our garden bar to soak up the sun.

Facilities

Gym:

Our brand new gym area is free to use if you’re a Padel Box member

Work room:

We understand people are trying to squeeze exercise into sometimes hectic schedules, so we hope that the addition of a dedicated work room can help to make things more convenient. In here, there’s space for a meeting of approximately 6 people. Feel free to work from any of the social spaces if you need to, there is guest wifi available.

Sessions

There is a full timetable of sessions to join, including socials, expert coaching, fitness classes, junior, womens and more. These are available to book into under ‘Academy’ in Playtomic.

Learning to play

If you’re keen to try padel but haven’t before, there are some sessions that can support you. Intro to padel, beginners coaching, and beginners socials are all great places to start.

Membership

Anyone can play at Padel Box, however, we do also have a membership option available for those who seek it. A Padel Box member will enjoy priority court bookings (10 days in advance), discount on courts, and free racket rental. Alongside this they can also receive 10% off Padel Corner online, and 20% off Padel Box branded clothing.

Advanced bookings 

If you’d like to book far in advance for a birthday or organised league, please get in touch as we will try to accommodate.
